Newcomers Class

Pastor David leads on a recurring basis a three-week class for anyone new to the church. You will be able to interact with our leadership, learn about the church’s beliefs and vision, and discover all that the church offers as well as how you can become a member and serve. These classes occur during our Sunday School hour (9:15-10:15 AM) with childcare provided through our nursery and children’s Sunday School classes. Contact the church office for the dates of the next upcoming class.

Membership

So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added to them. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Acts 2:41-42 CSB

God calls into a covenant relationship with Him and with one another in Christ.

If you are interested in church membership, you can come forward at the conclusion of our Sunday morning worship service to speak to a pastor, indicate interest on the tear off card in our Sunday morning worship guide, or contact the church office to meet with a pastor. An ideal first step is to attend an upcoming Newcomers Class to learn fully what church membership is all about.

Baptism

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 29:19 CSB

Jesus commanded that everyone who turns from their sin and trusts in Him as Savior and Lord is to be baptized. Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead. Being a church ordinance, it is prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord's Supper.

If you are interested in being baptized, you can come forward at the conclusion of our Sunday morning worship service to speak to a pastor, indicate interest on the tear off card in the our Sunday morning worship guide, or contact the church office to meet with a pastor.
