We know that visiting a church can be intimidating. Although it’s impossible to remove all the anxiety, a little information may be helpful.


We are Jesus people. Everything we do is about him.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God. We talk about it a lot.
We are not perfect. Not even close.
We don’t expect you to fit in. Just be yourself.
We will not ignore or embarrass you.

You will meet people here who aren’t like you, and we think that’s a good thing. We love good music and use all kinds of voices and instruments.
We sing mostly newer songs but we still love the great hymns.
Your kids will love it here. They may not want to leave.

First Time Guests:

Parking and Entry

Plenty of parking is available on our campus including handicap accessible parking at all entrances. We do reserve our most convenient spaces for our  first time guests. Feel free to use one!

Entry / Welcome Center

The best place to start your day at First Baptist is at our Welcome Center. The Welcome Center is located in the heart of our campus inside the Sanctuary Building (the building with the Steeple) and is easily accessible from the parking lots. A door greeter will escort you to the Welcome Center where you will be provided with any information or assistance you may need.

Check-In Procedure:

For the safety of our children, preschoolers and children through 5th grade must be brought to the Children's Building Welcome Center by a parent or adult guardian. First-time guests will fill out an information card for each child and receive a parent security badge matching the security badge of their child. In order to check out the child, he/she must present the badge to the desk attendant. Parents or guardians will be contacted by text message (cell on vibrate) if their child has a need.

Nursery Care

The nursery is available for ages birth - 4 during both the Sunday School (9:15 -10:15 AM) and church worship service hour (10:30 AM).

Sunday School

Children meet in small, age-graded groups from 9:15 - 10:15 AM in the Children's Building. They will check in at our the Welcome Center to be directed to the appropriate classroom. Preschool classes offer engaging, interactive Bible story lessons covering the whole Bible chronologically. 

Grades K-5 study Gospel Project for Kids which takes kids on Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture, discovering how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation.

Junior Worship

Junior Worship is a worship experience for children ages kindergarten - 5th grade, that takes place during the sermon portion of our 10:30 AM Sunday morning worship service. Children will be dismissed from the worship service at that point to our adjacent chapel.

From I-40

Take exit 238 for US-231 toward Lebanon/Hartsville. Go north on 231/ S. Cumberland St. to the Lebanon Square. At the traffic circle take the 1st exit onto E. Main St. Church will be on the left.

From Mt. Juliet

Go east on Hwy 70. Follow Hwy 70/W. Main St. to the Lebanon Square. At the traffic circle take the 2nd exit onto E. Main St. Church will be on the left.

From Murfreesboro

Go north on Hwy 231. Follow Hwy 231/ S. Cumberland St. to the Lebanon Square. At the traffic circle take the 1st exit onto E. Main St. Church will be on the left.

From Castalian Springs / Hartsville

Go south on Hwy 231: Follow Hwy 231 / N. Cumberland St. to the Lebanon Square. At the traffic circle take 3rd exit onto E. Main St. Church will be on the left.

From Carthage / Gordonsville

Go west on Hwy 70. Continue into Lebanon on 70N / E. Main St. Church will be on the right.
