The Bible:
While human authors wrote the Bible, God’s Spirit guided the whole process. Therefore, it is without error and truth for every generation. In the Bible, God reveals Himself, His purposes, and His ways. It is a living book and by reading its pages we hear God’s voice. We affirm the Bible as the standard for all ethical and moral decisions in faith and life.

God:
The Bible attests that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - each possessing all the attributes of Deity. These three are co-equal and are one God.

God the Father:
The Heavenly Father is the Creator and Sustainer of life and therefore the Ruler over all creation. He is all-loving, all-just, all-wise and all-powerful.
We believe God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

God the Son:
Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, became a man, lived a sinless life on earth, and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He then arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

We celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the central event of history and the only basis for our hope. His saving act is effective for all those who receive it by turning from their sinful ways and trusting Christ to the point of following Him.

God the Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily as He equips them for their ministry in the church and mission in the world. We rejoice in having God’s personal presence within us by His Spirit.

Humanity:
God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by going their own way. This disposition of disobedience toward God is called "sin." This attitude and the resulting actions separate man from God. As a result, we need God's saving grace to end our alienation from God.

We believe God’s saving grace was provided through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and must be received personally by repentance (turning from our sin) and faith (trusting Christ to the point of following Him in obedience).

Salvation:
Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by turning from sin and by trusting Jesus to the point of following Him can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.

We believe that authentic repentance and faith will evidence itself in a "new life" which seeks full devotion to Jesus Christ.

Church:
The church is a group of believers brought together by the Spirit of God to carry out the Great Commandment by practicing the Great Commission.

Each church is an self-governing body operating under the leadership of Christ as the Head of the Church. Each church member is a part of the body, and uniquely equipped by the God’s Spirit for ministry in the church and mission in the world.

There are two ordinances that are to be observed in a New Testament Church: Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change that has occurred in the life of the believer. It is an identification with Christ by picturing his death, burial and resurrection. It is the first commandment a new Christian is given from the Lord Jesus.

The Lord’s Supper is an opportunity for personal examination and reflection as we observe the "Lord's death until He comes." The bread and cup are symbols of His body and blood which were broken and spilled out for our salvation and is done in "remembrance" of Him until He comes again. All baptized believers are invited to take part.

We seek to build a community where there is heart-felt worship, relevant teaching, authentic friendships, meaningful opportunities to meet needs, and contagious sharing of Jesus, all in an atmosphere of love for God and each other.

Eternity:
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

We look forward to the coming of Christ and His eternal reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
