Here at First Baptist we believe that every child is a precious gift from God. Our goal
is to introduce children to who God is and his great love for them, lead them to a saving
knowledge of Christ and disciple them so they can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
We consider it a privilege to partner with parents in this great endeavor. As parents take
this journey with their child, we strive to be an encouragement to them and resource for
them. There is no greater or nobler task than raising godly children.
We believe that children are not just the church of the future,
but are a vital part of the body of Christ now. Children are valued here at First Baptist
for their faith, honesty and joy in the Lord. We think that children can be some of the
best witnesses that Jesus has. Our job is to encourage them in their Christian
walk and equip them with the tools they need to share Jesus with their generation.
